You’ll have an easier time saying no this way! If you stumble upon something that you like but it isn’t quite the same as your other ideas, ask yourself: “Does this have the feeling and atmosphere I’m going for? Or do I just like it because it’s pretty”. You will then have the ability to say no to other ideas that will take you away form your most loved vision. A mood board will help keep your most loved visions on track. One day you want one thing, the next day you might change your mind. During the several months of planning, your head will bounce all over the place with ideas.

You should be able to create a board and show your vendors so they know exactly how to help make your vision come to life on your big day! It should encapsulate the vision, smell and taste of the day as well.

It’s taking colors and sometimes textures that you want on your special day and meshing them together to create an entire board you can easily refer to. What on earth is a mood board? Simply put, a mood board is a visual representation of all the inspiration you’ve gathered for your wedding days. This can be an overwhelming feeling as there are a variety of options.
